We warranty each and every Freeman Outdoor Gear product to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product, regardless of owner, and we will repair or replace with a new product, at our option, any product that is defective. Freeman Outdoor Gear does not warrant its products against normal wear or misuse. The knife must be shipped by owner, prepaid and insured, together with a description of the problem. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to give formal notice of the warranty return before mailing return, so we can contact you to understand your complaint and insure the prompt resolution of your complaint. Freeman Outdoor Gear will cover return shipment costs and insurance for valid claims.
WHAT IS COVERED
This Warranty covers replacement finished products, parts and labor.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This Warranty does not cover normal wear, re-sharpening of blades, damage caused by neglect, misuse or the failure to perform normal or necessary maintenance, or shipping costs for returned products.
Do not use your knife as a screwdriver, pry bar, chisel or punch. Do not throw your knife or use it for any purpose other than cutting. Do not sharpen your knife on a power grinding wheel. Any of these acts may void your Warranty. Freeman Outdoor Gear assumes no liability or responsibility for the misuse, neglect or poor judgement of a owner / user of our products.
If your knife was damaged due to misuse or neglect, our repair department can analyze the damage and repair it for a nominal fee. If your knife is unable to be repaired, we will extend a one- time courtesy offer, allowing you the option to purchase a new knife for 15% off of our price listed on the website, excluding any custom knives or web specials.
Freeman Outdoor Gear knives and cutting tools are delivered with a razor sharp edge! We encourage you to care for, clean and hone / re-sharpen your tools using your favorite stone, hone or manual sharpening system to keep your cutting tool ready.
If you would rather that we re-sharpen your knife/blade/tool, we will gladly re-sharpen your Freeman Outdoor Gear knife or tool to a factory razor sharp edge. If you prefer us to sharpen your blade, or if you may have neglected to maintain your edge for a while, simply ship your knife to us. We'll not only sharpen it, but we will also inspect the knife for any warranted repairs and "tune" the knife for optimum performance. Simply ship the knife to the Freeman Outdoor Gear address, postage paid and insured. Please enclose your return shipping address with $5.00 for first knife and $2.50 for each additional knife, to cover handling and return shipping charges.
